If you’re already using OS X Lion and you do this, you’ll get a pop-up warning that says “A newer version of this app is already installed on this computer,” but you can still click again and download. If you have already purchased a Lion, you should not be charged twice for any Lion downloads. An alternate click on OS X Lion purchases and then the “Install” button from the OS X Lion App Store page have failed, but there appear to be conflicting reports. Some users have difficulty with this method, and instead may try to hold down the Option key when launching the App Store in addition to clicking the gray installer next to OS X Lion to reload it. “Installed” should now say “Install” to reload OS X Lion, otherwise you can click Option-click the “Install” button again to start reloading OS X Lion as shown in the screenshot above.Option-click “OS X Lion” in the list of purchased apps.Hold down the Option key and click “Purchases”.
